VnExpress Marathon Imperial Hue 2022 marked the return of VnExpress Marathon after a long delay because of Covid-19. The tournament with more than 4,700 runners was the biggest sport event of the year in Hue.

Most of the runners completed the registered distances, with many personal records. Pham Thi Hue broke the 42 kilometer record among women, finishing at a time of 2:50:33, surpassing the 2:52:41 record previously held by Pham Thi Hong Le.

Entering its 4th year of organization, the running tournaments organized by VnExpress increasingly affirm professionalism in supporting athletes during the race.
