While the first season's medal used the image of the romantic night sky, this year's medal carries the nostalgic stamp design with Hanoi iconic places.
The rectangular 90 x 74 mm medal has the word "HANOI" in deep purple color, and "MIDNIGHT" in red orange tone symbolizing the transition between night and day. This is what runners will experience as they run from midnight to early morning on November 26.

The back of the medal is engraved with the words "Finisher" and the image of a running group striding on the track. This image expresses the collective and solidarity spirit of VM Hanoi Midnight. It is unique because, for the first time, the tournament has a competition category for 36 clubs, with a total of 720 runners.
There's one medal design for four distances, but the string colors are different. Runners who complete the 42km race will receive a medal with navy blue string, 21km purple, 10km blue and 5km yellow.

VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight was first held in 2020, when many runners set personal records thanks to the cool weather and convenient traffic. This year, the tournament is expected to gather nearly 10,000 runners including elite runners across the country.
Before the main race, children from 6 to 10 years old will participate in the Kun Marathon event, conquering a one-km track. The children will also receive medals after completing the challenge. Interested readers can follow more on the race here.
