Five months later, he defeated Korean Lee Gyu Hyun in Hanoi to win the WBA Asia East super middleweight title.

In February 2020, he earned the WBA Asia title with a knockout victory against Thailand's Yuttana Wongda in the Philippines.

He resumed his professional career after Covid-19 pause with a knockout victory against Indonesia's Robert Kopa on September 29, 2022.

The WBA is one of four major boxing organizations along with the IBF, WBC and WBO. The WBA Asia Championship is one of the most prestigious boxing competitions on the continent.
