Futsal, track and field and boxing stars have been included in the 2022 Forbes 30 Under 30 Vietnam list.

Futsal keeper Ho Van Y had an amazing year as he helped Vietnam qualify for 2021 Futsal World Cup in Lithuania. At the main event, he made crucial saves game by game and Vietnam passed the group stage before losing to Russia in the quarterfinals. Earlier this year, Futsal Planet nominated him for the Best Futsal Keeper award.

Runner Nguyen Thi Oanh broke the women’s 5,000 m national record last year, along with winning multiple gold medals at the national championship. She came second in the votes for Vietnamese Athlete of the Year organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In the upcoming SEA Games 31 in Vietnam this May, Oanh will be the biggest gold medal hope of Vietnamese track and field.

The third athlete on the list is boxer Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi. Last year, she became the first Vietnamese boxer ever to lift a mini-flyweight WBO World belt after beating Japanese opponent Tada Etsuko in South Korea. The boxer nicknamed ‘Black Angel’ is also expected to bring glory for Vietnamese boxing at SEA Games 31.

This year, the Forbes 30 Under 30 Vietnam list only had 26 faces instead of the usual 30. The list, published by Forbes magazine, honors youngsters that influence their respective fields in a profound manner.
