"My children still don't have a cell phone, my wife and I argue about it, " Djokovic told Serbian newspaper Blic.
"The kids complain, 'At school, everyone has one except us'. It's not easy and this is reflected on other levels as well. If everyone does something, the herd behaves like this, you have to follow them. Well, it doesn't have to be like that. This is where I think we differ from others because we are stubborn and active."

Previously, Djokovic has emphasized the importance of keeping his children active, as he wanted to take a more traditional approach to parenting.
"Out of the two parents I am the one that is responsible for their activities, sports, healthy lifestyle," he said in a studio interview with Tennis Channel. "I mean whether it is tennis or whatever it is, just be active, be out there. So I try to take them on with me on tennis every day, even if it's the match day I want them to be here with me."
Djokovic married Jelena, his high school sweetheart. in 2014. The two have two children, Stefan, 10, and Tara, 7.
After his third-round defeat at the U.S. Open earlier this month, Djokovic joined Team Serbia at the Davis Cup. Jelena and their daughter Tara attended the match as Djokovic beat Ioannis Xilas in just 45 minutes on Saturday.
The 37-year-old tennis star continued his triumph by defeating Greek duo Aristotelis Thanos and Petros Tsitsipas a day later, alongside Hamad Madjedovic in the men’s doubles event.
Djokovic won a record 24 Grand Slams and is considered the greatest tennis player ever. He completed his collection of titles after clinching a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics last month.
