The 2025 race will be held in the morning, a shift from the night event format used in 2024. Organizers note this change aligns with other races in the VnExpress Marathon series and aims to provide more favorable running conditions, as well as improved coordination of traffic and safety. Enhancements in hydration stations, traffic management, and volunteer support are being developed in coordination with local authorities.
More than 8,000 runners, including international participants, joined the inaugural race in 2024, according to organizers.
