GAM Esports has expressed their wish to face Taiwanese team CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO) in the final match of the League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) 2025 in Da Nang.

TK Nguyen, the representative and manager of GAM Esports, said the team's journey at LCP 2025 so far has gone according to expectations. He emphasized that GAM respects all opponents, especially domestic rivals. However, facing CFO and other international teams on home soil will give them the chance to gain experience and learn. Every match, he added, strengthens their determination to claim victory.

Assessing their rivals, TK said international teams such as CFO and PSG Talon are highly disciplined in both training and lifestyle. TSW is the only team to have defeated CFO, while MVKE stands out with a coaching staff rich in experience. "These challenges only reinforce our determination to become champions," he stressed.

If they make it to the final, GAM's goal is to meet CFO, a team they have yet to beat this season. Achieving this milestone at home, in front of thousands of Vietnamese fans, would be a historic moment. Their strategy remains the same: thorough preparation, adapting to the pace and intensity of the match, and never giving up.

To prepare for the tournament, GAM has invested not only in technical training but also in physical and mental conditioning. Players maintain a daily practice routine, analyze VODs, and follow the evolving meta while focusing on nutrition and recovery. One of GAM's "trump cards" this season is a training partnership with one of South Korea's top teams.

On the organizational side, GAM has upgraded its Gaming House in New Taipei City, located just 2 km from the LCP arena. The facility meets international standards in training, nutrition, and recovery. With support from partners such as FPT Telecom, Vietjet, Monster Energy, and Logitech, the players are provided optimal conditions to perform at their peak.

According to GAM, the LCP is becoming one of the world's most competitive tournaments, where "every matchup feels like a playoff." The team's ambition is not only to participate but to dominate, proving that Vietnam can compete at the highest level globally. "Our journey begins in Da Nang, with the ultimate destination being the World Championship in China," TK emphasized.

Beyond preparation and facilities, the passionate support of home fans is also a vital factor. TK recalled how last year in Ho Chi Minh City, 2,000 fans chanted GAM's name. This year, he hopes to see an even larger scene at Tien Son Sports Arena in Da Nang. For GAM, what they pursue at LCP is not only the honor and achievements of the team but also Vietnam's position on the global esports map.

After LCP 2025, GAM's short-term goal is to break into the Top 8 at the World Championship, while also expanding into other game titles and developing the "GAM Changers" podcast. The platform will share stories of players, entrepreneurs, and leaders across the region. In the long run, the team aims to build a community movement that inspires younger generations through esports.

"Our mission has never changed: to rise, unite, and elevate Vietnam on the global esports map. Da Nang is just the beginning of a journey to make history," TK Nguyen said.

The League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP 2025) is the largest tournament ever held in Da Nang, gathering top teams from across the Asia-Pacific region. Launched in 2025 by Riot Games and Carry International, it replaces the VCS (Vietnam), PCS (Taipei), and LJL (Japan), bringing together eight of the region's best teams from Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and Australia.

The Finals Weekend will take place at Tien Son Sports Arena on Sept. 20-21, 2025. Tickets are now available both individually and in combo packages with various promotions. Alongside the matches, LCP 2025 will also feature a cosplay contest and fan interactions.
