National broadcaster VTV will show live all of Vietnam’s football World Cup qualifying matches in June.

They will be broadcast on VTV5 and VTV6 HD.

Sports and digital media company Next Media, which has bought the TV rights for the event, said broadcasting on VTV would provide fans with easier access.

Cable services like VTVCab, K+ and SCTV will also show the matches besides over-the-top media services like VTVGo, Next Sport and On Sport and YouTube channels Next Media and Vietnam Football Federation.

Vietnam top group G with 11 points from five matches.

They take on Indonesia on June 7, Malaysia on the 11th and the UAE on the 15th.

Six points from the three matches will see the Golden Dragons advance to the final round of qualification for the first time ever.

If they finish second in the group, it will come down to results in the other groups since only the four best second-placed teams will move into the next round.

Coach Park Hang-seo has called up 37 players for a 19-day training camp, and he will pick 27 players plus goalkeeper Dang Van Lam, who is currently playing in Japan.

The team will fly to the UAE on May 26. After playing a friendly against Jordan on May 31, Park will prune the squad to 23 and submit the list to the organizer.
