After winning AFF Cup title last year, Vietnamese men's football team are set to don new jerseys in 2019.

The new dress kits, designed by Grand Sport, will have the traditional red and golden colors at home, while the away outfit will be in white. Both kits will have the dynamic arrow pattern.

As usual, the national flag of Vietnam will be 3D printed on the left side of the chest, while the right side will carry the apparel logo. The back of the collar will also have a small golden star. The sleeves will be etched with small details, using laser technology.

This jersey is also made from a new type of fabric that brings "ultimate comfort optimum ventilation, tuned breathability and lightweight mobility," said the Bangkok-based sports clothing company.

Vietnamese players Nguyen Quang Hai, Doan Van Hau, Bui Tien Dung (defender), Luong Xuan Truong and Bui Tien Dung (goalkeeper) were chosen for the jersey’s photoshoot.

The new jersey will be used in the upcoming tournaments and events, including the U22 Southeast Asia championship, qualification round of U23 Asian Cup and SEA Games 30.

It will make its debut at Vietnam's first group stage game of AFC Asian Cup on Tuesday against Iraq. The jersey will go on sale from January 12.
