A draw on Thursday put Vietnam into group B of Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers along with weaker opponents.

Vietnam are expected to have no difficulties in facing Tajikistan, Maldives and Afghanistan, with all group B games to be hosted in Tajikistan.

In FIFA rankings, Vietnam currently rank 33rd, followed by Tajikistan (135th), Maldives (144th) and Afghanistan (152th).

"The opponents are ranked much lower, but Vietnam cannot let their guard drop. I think we have a really great chance to advance. However, we have to respect every opponent and prepare the best for this qualifiers," head coach Mai Duc Chung said.
