After two World Cup qualifiers in November with Japan and Saudi Arabia, the players will get two days off before training in Vung Tau from Nov. 19 to Dec. 1.
The team will gather at Ba Ria Stadium for the entirety of their stay.
"We are delighted with the national team having selected Ba Ria Stadium as their training ground. We will create the best conditions for the team so they can be ultimately prepared for the upcoming AFF Cup," said Dinh Hong Vinh, the president of Ba Ria Vung Tau FC.
Head coach Park Hang-seo chose Vung Tau since it has similar weather conditions to Singapore, the AFF Cup host country.
The team are currently training in Hanoi to prepare for the November World Cup qualifiers.
AFF Cup 2021 will take place between Dec. 5, 2021 and Jan. 1, 2022.
Vietnam are in group B with Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos. The Golden Dragons will play the first match with Laos on Dec. 6.
Vietnam are the defending champions, having claimed the title in 2018 after defeating Malaysia in the final. It was Vietnam's first AFF Cup title after 10 years.
