National broadcaster VTV has successfully purchased the broadcasting rights for all games of FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021.

"After a period of negotiation, VTV has officially obtained the rights for FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021 on its digital platforms," VTV announced.

All 52 games of the tournament will be broadcast live on channels VTV5 and VTV6 as well as streaming app VTVGo.

FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021 will take place from Sept. 12 to Oct. 4 in three indoor locations of Lithuania.

A total of 24 participating teams will be divided into six groups. The top two teams of each and four best third-placed teams would advance to the next round.

Vietnam are in group D with title contender Brazil, the Czech Republic and Panama. On Sept. 13, Vietnam will play Brazil, followed by a game with Panama on the 16th, and the Czech Republic three days later.

This is Vietnam’s second time at a Futsal World Cup event, after the first in 2016 when the team made it past the group stage.
