Dung said that he purchased the property two years ago for a significant sum. The four-story villa is nearing completion, with construction in the final stages and interior installation set to begin soon.
The decision to relocate was driven by the area's comprehensive amenities, which include parks, playgrounds, sports facilities, swimming pools and electric vehicle charging stations. The new home is also conveniently located near a ring road, allowing for a 30-minute ride to central Hanoi, where he plays for Hanoi FC.

This marks the second property Hung Dung has bought in the past three years.
In 2022, he spent over VND10 billion ($385,000) to purchase a five-story house in Hanoi as a gift to his parents.
Dung, 32, is a product of the Hanoi FC youth academy. He was promoted to the first team in 2015 and represented Vietnam at the U19, U22 and U23 levels. He rose to national prominence after helping the national team win the 2018 AFF Cup. Dung later contributed to U23 Vietnam's gold medal wins at the 2019 and 2022 SEA Games, where he was selected as one of two overage players for the tournaments.
At club level, Dung has helped Hanoi FC secure four V. League championships, three National Cup, and four National Super Cup titles. He won the prestigious Vietnamese Golden Ball in 2019 and is currently under contract with the Hanoi club until the end of the 2025–2026 season.
Over the years, Dung has earned tens of billions of VND through contracts, salaries, bonuses and endorsements. At the height of his career, he was a sought-after figure for advertising campaigns.
He married his longtime girlfriend, Trieu Moc Trinh, in April 2019 and the couple now have a 6-year-old son.
