David Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn reportedly cuts ties with younger brothers

The Sun reported that the rift within the Beckham family had become so serious that Brooklyn no longer communicates with his younger siblings. Romeo, Cruz and other family members have referred to Brooklyn as a "hostage," suggesting that he has distanced himself from them. For several months, Brooklyn has not interacted with his parents or siblings on social media.

British media outlets have expressed concern that Brooklyn is so obsessed with his wife, actress and billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz, that she may be controlling him.

On June 24, Brooklyn posted a photo on his personal Instagram of him cuddling his wife, Nicola, along with a caption marking the fifth anniversary of his proposal to her. "Best decision ever," Brooklyn wrote, adding, "I love you so much."

A source close to the couple also shared that Brooklyn now spends most of his evenings with Nicola, for activities like watching TV by the fireplace or preparing her bath. This contrasts with his previous social lifestyle, where he often mingled with friends, including the children of chef Gordon Ramsay and Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher, Daily Mail reported.

The tension within the Beckham family is believed to have started three years ago during Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding. At the time, rumors circulated that Nicola and Brooklyn's mother, Victoria Beckham, had a falling out when Nicola refused to let Victoria design her wedding dress. Although both women later posted affectionate photos together to dismiss the rumors, many sources claim the relationship between the two remains strained.

Earlier this year, rumors of an ongoing rift resurfaced when Brooklyn and Nicola were notably absent from several family events, including David’s 50th birthday celebration. Brooklyn also failed to publicly wish his father a happy birthday or send greetings on Mother's Day and Father's Day, as he had done in previous years. Additionally, he did not have any reaction when his father was granted knighthood this month.

Though the Beckhams continue to post photos of Brooklyn and tag him in social media posts, they have refrained from mentioning Nicola. Brooklyn, on the other hand, attracted attention with an Instagram post affirming that he always chooses his wife, which many interpreted as a statement of support for Nicola, who is widely seen as a source of division within the Beckham family.

Initially, it was suggested that the discord stemmed from Brooklyn's past relationship with Kim Turnbull, Romeo's ex-girlfriend. Some reports claimed Kim had dated Brooklyn, which allegedly upset Nicola. However, both Cruz and Romeo have denied these rumors. After her breakup with Romeo, Kim also refuted the claim that she had ever been involved with Brooklyn.
