The 40-year-old football superstar, who serves as an ambassador for Whoop, a firm specializing in health and fitness tracking, underwent a detailed analysis that measured metrics such as heart rate, heart rate variability, recovery capacity, and sleep quality.

The results revealed that Ronaldo's body is equivalent to that of a 28.9-year-old, Marca reported.

"I can't believe it's so good. 28.9." Ronaldo said on Whoop's podcast. "This means I'll play football for another ten years."

Ronaldo began his professional career in August 2002 with Sporting CP in Portugal. Since then, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has played 1,277 official matches and scored a record 934 goals across all competitions.

Despite being 40, Ronaldo continues to perform at the highest level. In the 2024–2025 season, he scored 33 goals in 39 appearances for Al Nassr, marking his 20th consecutive season with double-digit goals.

If he maintains his form and fitness, Ronaldo could potentially compete in the 2030 FIFA World Cup, hosted partly by Portugal, and even the 2034 edition in Saudi Arabia. He currently holds the record for the most international goals, with 136 scored for Portugal.

While Ronaldo continues to push boundaries, many of his peers have retired. His former Portugal teammate Ruben Amorim, also born in 1985, hung up his boots in 2016 and is now the manager of Manchester United. Another ex-teammate, Toni Kroos, retired in 2024 at the age of 34.

Ronaldo's current contract with Al Nassr expires on June 30. According to media reports, a Brazilian club, whose name has not been disclosed, has expressed interest in signing him for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled to be held in the U.S. from June 14 to July 13.
