Rodtang 'Iron Man' Jitmuangnon, a celebrated fighter in Thailand and world Muay Thai, made headlines when he gifted his wife Aida Looksaikongdin 1 million baht (US$30,000) during her pregnancy with their baby boy.

Looksaikongdin posted a video on social media last week showing her husband handing her a stack of cash worth one million baht. This was the promised gift Rodtang made to Looksaikongdin if she got pregnant. The video quickly went viral, attracting more than 4.2 million views and thousands of comments. Many praised Rodtang for being a great husband, while others admired Looksaikongdin for her good fortune.

Along with the one million baht gift, viewers also noticed another large pile of money on the table behind Looksaikongdin.

According to Matichon, the total amount of money was up to 12 million baht ($360,600). After his victory over Japan’s Takeru Segawa, Rodtang withdrew a significant sum of cash from the bank as a gift for his family.

Rodtang and Looksaikongdin tied the knot in early 2023 after dating for about three years. The couple first met in 2020, initially communicating through text messages, then dating, before parting ways due to misunderstandings. When the two were more mature, they reconnected and decided to reignite their relationship, ultimately leading to marriage. Looksaikongdin is currently five months pregnant.

Rodtang, 27, is a world-class Muay Thai fighter, known for his fierce fighting style, exceptional endurance and fearless spirit. He also competes in MMA and kickboxing. Looksaikongdin was also a well-known Muay Thai fighter before her marriage to Rodtang. She is the 13th of 16 children born to Nopparit Yoohanngoh, the head of the Looksaikongdin Muay Thai training center. Between 2018 and 2020, she competed in over 65 matches and won three national-level amateur Muay Thai gold medals.
