A woman was fined VND14 million ($550) and had her license revoked for three months after performing a series of dangerous motorbike stunts and posting them on TikTok.

The 23-year-old woman on Tuesday told the police of the southern Vinh Long Province she performed the tricks in Vinh Long City over two weeks ago, letting go of the bike's handlebar while driving, as well as making gestures and movements while driving.

The videos, which were uploaded on TikTok on June 27, July 4 and July 7, were recorded by a friend of the daredevil driver. The woman said the videos were merely for fun, and she only decided to remove them later once she realized that her acts were illegal.

Besides a monetary fine and licence revocation, her vehicle has also been seized for seven days.
