48 cases were recorded in Bac Giang, 12 in Hanoi, four in Bac Ninh, two in Long An and one each in Da Nang and Dak Lak.
The cases in Bac Giang are all associated with outbreaks in local quarantined zones and industrial parks. The cases in Bac Ninh are also associated with existing outbreaks in the province.
The rest of the cases in other localities have made contact with confirmed coronavirus patients.
