Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will attend the 15th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting of the New Champions in China, a Foreign Ministry's statement said.

Chinh will attend the meeting in Dalian city, Liaoning province of China, and have working sessions from June 24-27.

The trip will be made at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab.

WEF said the event, themed "Next Frontiers for Growth," will gather over 1,500 high-level leaders from business, government, civil society and international organizations, as well as prominent entrepreneurs, innovators and academics to generate insights and solutions.

Chinh paid an official visit to China in June 2023 when he also attended the WEF annual event.
