Vietnam plans to adopt Law on Access to Information
A National Assembly session
Vietnam’s legislators may approve the Law on Access to Information and the amended Law on Press in the last session of the 13th National Assembly, which began on Monday and will run until April 12.

The NA is also scheduled to decide on amendments to the Law on Signing, Joining and Implementing International Treaties; Law on Child Protection, Care and Education; Law on Value Added Tax, Special Consumption Tax and Tax management; Law on Import/Export Tax; and the new Law on Pharmacy.

The country will appoint a new legislative body in June and preparations for the elections are underway.
