Two Vietnamese women die in Malaysia blaze

Two Vietnamese women were among six dead in a fire that broke out Wednesday at an entertainment center in Ipoh.

The four others were men, with one believed to be from Bangladesh, a spokesman of the Perak Fire & Rescue Department was cited as saying by the Sun Daily.

Another 39-year-old man was in critical condition, he added.

Local firefighters received a distress call regarding the fire on the fourth floor of the unnamed entertainment center in the Raja Dr Nazrin Shah Road in the northwestern city of Ipoh at approximately 5:49 a.m. 39 firefighters were dispatched to the scene.

Medical officers confirmed that two of the men, 36 and 37, died after experiencing difficult breathing.
