The man, Nguyen Trong Long, 38, was arrested Wednesday night facing charges of disturbing public order.
The incident unfolded on Tuesday morning in Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province.
Security camera footage shows a car suddenly stopping in the middle of Le Hong Phong Street. Moments later, Long sprang out from the passenger seat, swung the door wide open and delivered a forceful kick to female ride-hailing driver waiting behind the vehicle. The brutal blow knocked both the woman and her motorbike to the ground.

Police reports indicate that the altercation began earlier at a traffic light, when Long allegedly tossed a toothpick out of the car window, striking the female driver, 26. She confronted him over the careless act, but instead of resolving the matter, the man waited until the next stoplight to launch his attack.
After the brief confrontation, Long calmly returned to the car, driven by his wife, and fled the scene.
Authorities in Phu Loi Ward later tracked down Long, who admitted to having had an alcohol party before the attack.
The woman suffered scratches.
