Three arrested for stunt performance on motorbike

Police in HCMC’s Thu Duc City have detained three men for performing a series of dare-devil stunts when driving one motorbike on the street.

Duong Quoc Cuong, 32, Hoang Anh Trung, 20, and Nguyen Thanh Xuan Truong, 23, are facing the charge of "disturbing public order," police said Wednesday.

The three posted videos on social media in which they drove one motorbike without any of them wearing helmets on Tran Bach Dang Street of Thu Duc City.

At some point, they drove the motorbike with the front wheel off the ground, released their hands from the handlebar, or performed a handstand on the moving motorbike.

Cuong is the owner of a YouTube channel and a Facebook page with tens of thousands of subscribers and followers.

Police said such videos and images promoted by Cuong and his group do not just disturb public order but could create negative impacts on the youths who follow him online.
