When the accident occurred, the road had minimal traffic. The bus suffered extensive damage, with wheels nearly detached and debris strewn across the road.

Authorities said initial findings and the driver’s account suggest a tire blowout led to the bus overturning. Breathalyzer and drug tests showed the driver was not under the influence.

Local police are currently carrying out rescue efforts, managing traffic, and investigating the cause of the accident.
