A car shop owner in Central Highlands' Lam Dong Province was killed after a customer accidentally hit her while trying to get her car into the right spot.

Huynh Thi Thu Lan, 68, drove her car to the shop of Lai Vong Cu, 47, for a car wash on Sunday.

Cu instructed Lan to drive her car into the right spot for washing. However, the car suddenly accelerated and rammed into Cu, resulting in her death.

Lam Dong authorities have launched an investigation.
