The 28-year-old artist, born Vu Xuan Binh, was caught on dashcam footage weaving between cars and cutting off other drivers on the Noi Bai–Lao Cai expressway around 6 p.m. on July 23. The reckless stunt was shared across social media and drew widespread backlash.
Police quickly launched a manhunt after the footage surfaced. By 10 p.m., traffic officers stopped Binh's vehicle in Lao Cai. He later tested positive for cannabis, according to police.

Once a tattoo artist, Binh Gold rose to online fame in 2019 with rap videos flaunting a flashy, indulgent lifestyle. But his controversial lyrics, often laced with vulgarity, have drawn criticism for setting a bad example, especially for younger audiences.
