The incident, which occurred around 9 a.m. near Hai Phong, involved a rear-end crash between the Porsche and a Toyota Corolla Cross.
According to authorities, the Porsche, traveling along a section of the expressway in Hai Phong, attempted to switch lanes but collided with the back of the Toyota.
The impact caused flames to erupt at the front of the Porsche, quickly engulfing the entire vehicle. The driver of the Porsche was able to escape the vehicle before it was fully consumed by fire.
The Toyota Corolla Cross, damaged by the collision, was forced to pull over to the emergency lane.
Firefighters arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and managed to extinguish the flames by 9:30 a.m. However, the Porsche had already been incinerated, leaving only its charred metal frame behind.
Authorities worked to manage traffic while emergency crews cleared the wreckage.
The Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway, which spans 105 km and connects Hanoi, Hung Yen, Hai Duong and Hai Phong, is a six-lane highway with two additional emergency lanes.
