The victim was reportedly dragged approximately 10 m following the impact and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:40 p.m. at a junction opposite No. 93 Nguyen Luong Bang Street. According to witnesses, the man was maneuvering his motorcycle into the opposite lane when it collided with the oncoming car.

The force of the impact trapped both the rider and his vehicle under the car, which continued moving for several meters before coming to a complete stop.
A representative from Hanoi's Road Traffic Police Team confirmed that the victim died on the spot and noted that the motorcycle sustained severe damage. Authorities have not yet released the identities of either the driver or the victim as the investigation continues.
This incident marked the second fatal traffic accident in the capital on Thursday.
Earlier that morning, a 19-year-old man was killed on Cau Giay Street in Cau Giay Ward. Dashcam footage from that scene revealed the victim was riding at high speed when he clipped another motorcycle traveling in the same direction. The collision caused him to fall into the path of an oncoming car, resulting in his immediate death.
