Police in Soc Trang Province on Thursday fined Tran Thai Bao, 39, VND500,000 (US$20.32) for pushing another vehicle while driving a motorbike.
Bao said two weeks ago, he was driving his motorbike when an acquaintance's car broke down in the middle of Tran Hung Dao Street in Soc Trang Town.
He decided to help the car owner by pushing the car to the nearest garage that lies 400 m away.
