The incident occurred late Saturday night in Chau Duc District when the man, driving a four-seater car, was confronted by three men who shouted threats and appeared ready to attack. As tensions escalated, the woman, identified as the man's ex-girlfriend, tried to intervene but was pulled aside.

In an attempt to escape, the driver reversed his car, accidentally hitting the woman and dragging her under the vehicle. Onlookers banged on the car windows, urging the driver to stop to free her.
The victim is receiving treatment at a local hospital.
Police revealed that the conflict stemmed from jealousy involving the woman's new partner and her ex-boyfriend. "The driver fled in fear of being attacked but unintentionally caused the accident," a police source stated.
Authorities are investigating the case and have summoned those involved for further questioning.
