The race will begin at the Saigon Zoo & Botanical Garden in Saigon Ward, with the finish line set at Zone 2B of An Khanh Ward, near Ba Son Bridge.
According to an announcement from the city’s Traffic Police Department, a total ban on all vehicles will be implemented from 0:00 a.m. on Saturday until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. This closure affects Le Duan Street (between Dinh Tien Hoang and Nguyen Binh Khiem) and Nguyen Binh Khiem Street (between Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Nguyen Huu Canh) to allow for event setup, operations, and post-race cleanup.
Residents living along Nguyen Binh Khiem Street may still enter and exit their homes under the guidance of traffic officers. Visitors heading to the Saigon Zoo should use the entrance on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper reported.
For alternate routes, motorists can use Nguyen Thi Minh Khai toward Xo Viet Nghe Tinh or Nguyen Huu Canh toward Ton Duc Thang to avoid the primary restricted areas.
Motorbike traffic will face temporary restrictions along the race course on Sunday morning.
From 3:15 a.m. until the last 42 km runners complete their route on Sunday, motorbikes will be temporarily banned from the motorbike lanes on Vo Van Kiet Boulevard, from Cao Van Lau to the Saigon River tunnel, in the direction leading toward the city center, according to Dan Tri.
As an alternative, motorbikes on Vo Van Kiet can turn left onto Cao Van Lau, then head toward Pham Dinh Ho and continue through other roads leading into the city center.
Throughout the event, vehicle access will be restricted along the marathon route. Drivers using remaining open sections of the route must follow the instructions of on-duty officers to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow.
