The driver, employed by District 1's Public Utility Service Co., Ltd., received the fine from traffic police on Monday for driving on a restricted road.

The incident occurred on the night of Oct. 20 when the garbage truck driver was traveling from Duong Ba Trac Street in District 8 towards Nguyen Van Linh Street in Binh Chanh District. The dispute arose after the truck driver encountered a 30-year-old taxi driver moving in the same direction.

Following the argument, the truck driver stopped in front of the taxi and, using a metal pipe, smashed the vehicle's side mirror. The entire altercation was captured on dash cam.
