A driver in northern Thai Nguyen Province was fined VND4 million ($157) and had his license revoked for two months after driving with four women in the trunk.

At around 6 p.m. on Sunday, a video on social media showed a car carrying four women in its trunk while running through Hoa Thuong Town of Dong Hy District.

The 35-year-old driver said the women, aged 18-20, had wet clothes on as they had been swimming. As they were afraid that they would get the car's interior wet, they decided to sit in the trunk instead.
