A Russian man in Nha Trang in the central Khanh Hoa Province stopped his motorbike by the road and blocked vehicles, jumping on cars while screaming and smashing things.

The man, wearing shorts and no shirt, displayed unusual behavior on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street on Sunday. He stopped his motorbike, blocked cars on the road, danced, jumped on the vehicles and started to smash objects in the area.

Several drivers feared the man’s actions and tried to escape, only to be chased by him.

The ordeal lasted for around 30 minutes, impeding traffic in the area.

Ngo Khac Thinh, Phuoc Long Ward People’s Committee chairman, said local police were dealing with the man.

Authorities have not confirmed whether the man had used substances. He has since been taken to the Khanh Hoa Specialty Mental Hospital for a check-up.

Two cars were slightly damaged by the man, but the owners did not request compensation.
