Thai woman found dead in luxury Phuket hotel, police hunt foreign companion

Housekeeping staff at the luxury hotel found the woman, believed to be in her 20s, lying on her side on the floor. Officers said there were no visible injuries, no signs of a struggle, and her belongings appeared untouched, Mothership reported.

Preliminary findings revealed that she had checked into the hotel the previous day with a man described as a foreigner, Ejan reported. Police said the man did not provide personal details to staff and is believed to have left the premises early the next morning.

Investigators are now reviewing surveillance footage to trace his movements as they work to determine the cause of death.
