A Taiwanese man was arrested in central Ha Tinh Province on Monday for allegedly stealing three pickup trucks.

The Ky Anh Town police have taken in Chang Yu Jui, 38, an employee of a company in town, for questioning.

On August 2, seeing a pickup truck parked in front of Dinh Uy Production Trading Company’s office, Chang broke its lock and drove it straight to a pawn shop and pawned it for VND100 million ($4,340). The truck is valued at around VND400 million.

Later he admitted to the police that he had stolen two more vehicles belonging to Dinh Uy and Huu Luong companies also in town and pawned them too.

The vehicles have been returned to their owners.
