The iron light truss, approximately 7 meters high and 12 meters wide, fell off the stage amidst a sudden, heavy downpour and strong gusts of wind at a park in the Hoa Loi Residence complex in Thu Dau Mot Town.
Hundreds had gathered in the park to watch the show.
Five people were taken to the Binh Duong General Hospital. One person with mild injuries returned home.
The stage and light truss were set up Friday by an event management company hired by local authorities.
