Several areas of Vietnam should expect rain during the National Day holiday from Sep. 1 to 4.

On the first two days of the holiday, northern Vietnam would see occasional rain, while mountainous regions will experience rain at dusk on Sep. 3, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.

Widespread rain is expected on Sep. 4, the center added.

U.S. weather forecasting service AccuWeather said Hanoi would see the highest temperature of 35 degrees Celsius on Saturday. High-altitude areas like Sa Pa in Lao Cai would see temperatures range between 17-25 degrees Celsius, it added.

Northern and central Vietnam would see temperatures of between 32-35 degrees Celsius. There would be rain at dusk on Sep. 1 and, and on the entire day on Sep. 4.

In Da Nang, where several tourism and entertainment events will be held during the holiday, there would be rain in the afternoon on Sep. 1 and 2, the service said.

Southern Vietnam and the Central Highlands would experience rain in the afternoon throughout the entire holiday. Temperatures during the day would be around 29-34 degrees Celsius.
