Upon considering requests by the Central Inspection Commission, the Politburo and the Secretariat on Wednesday found that Hue, The, former president Vo Van Thuong and certain other officials have committed violations.
Thuong has violated Party and state regulations in regards to his duty, as well as committing violations regarding anti-corruption, resulting in severe consequences and affecting the reputation of the Party and the state.

Disciplinary actions against Thuong have not been considered as he is in medical treatment for illnesses.

Hue, 67, was dismissed from his position as chairman of the National Assembly for the 2021-2026 term in May and Thuong, 54, was relieved from his position in March.
The Central Party Committee at the time said that Thuong and Hue had resigned from their positions as they were aware of their responsibility before the Party, the State and the people regarding their violations.
The, 57, was dismissed from the transport minister position by the National Assembly in October 2022, upon his request. He was appointed to the post in October 2017.
