Pawat Ruangdejworachai, CEO of Media Intelligence Group, told the Bangkok Post that most of these influencers have been selling products online and are now seeking additional revenue streams, such as advertising fees and paid product reviews.
He noted that spending on online advertising in 2024 reached 88.06 billion baht (US$2.61 billion), and is expected to grow by 4.5% this year. According to Pawat, total digital media ad spending last year surpassed that of television commercials.
The Nation reported that digital media continues to drive expansion, with projected growth of 15% and an expected market share of about 38 billion baht.
