Man seeking to shoot adversaries ​hits 4-year-old in hand

According to the police, Cao Sy Khoa, 29, took a homemade gun to the Diamon karaoke bar at 112 Pham Duc Ky Street in the north central province.

He entered a room and aimed to shoot at a group of men and women who were singing karaoke, but only managed to hit the girl, who was sitting with them.

The lone bullet he fired went into the webbing of her right hand.

The girl was taken to hospital for emergency aid and is now in stable condition.

Khoa fled the scene immediately.

He reportedly wanted to shoot some people in the group over some personal feud.

The police are looking for him.

In Vietnam, it is illegal for civilians to possess firearms, and entails imprisonment of one to seven years.
