Man jailed in Da Nang for robbing Russian tourist of phone

Huynh Cong Phuc, 31, a drug user, has a history of crime and only came out of prison in March.

Within days, on March 12, he rode around on a motorbike looking for a victim to rob. He spotted Anna Kolesnikova, 28, and her friend stopping on the street and using an iPhone. He snatched it from her and sold it for VND3 million ($129).

After she made a complaint, the police caught Phuc within a few days.
