Japanese passengers injured in Ho Chi Minh City road wreck
Scores of Japanese passengers were left in shock after a container truck slammed into three vans they were traveling in this morning in Ho Chi Minh City.

The container truck veered across a highway bridge through the central divide into the opposite lane taking out three vans carrying mostly Japanese experts before coming to a stop at the safety barrier.

Scores of panicked passengers were helped from the wreck and sent to hospital, one of them suffering from severe head injuries.

Police blocked off the bridge causing two hours of traffic congestion.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
