Police at HCMC's Tan Son Nhat Airport found and returned a wallet containing foreign currencies worth VND100 million (US$3,900) to a tourist on Monday.

On Sunday, Nguyen Huynh Duc, from the immigration custom check team under the Immigration Department, found a leather wallet left at a booth. Duc asked around for its owner, but no-one came forward.

Through an investigation, police found out that the wallet belonged to a 19-year-old Ukrainian tourist, who flew on the ZH8017 flight from China to HCMC. The wallet was successfully returned.
