A group of foreigners have vandalized a series of rolling doors of stores and shops on Le Loi Street in Ho Chi Minh City's District 1.

A video sent to Tuoi Tre newspaper shows a foreign woman and two foreign men using spray and vandalizing the doors of a series of stores and shops on the street.

The woman also sprayed a wall of a building and a power box on the sidewalk.

The incident took place late at night on May 3, according to the man who made the video. He is a ride-hailing service driver whose do not want his identity to be made public.

The video has now been shared on social media and has drawn much attention.

Most users expressed their frustration and urged the local authorities to swiftly handle the case and apply strict punishments.

In November last year, police in HCMC's District 1 fined a local man VND1.5 million (US$59) and forced him to repaint a hospital wall near Ben Thanh Market after he painted his nickname in graffiti style there.
