A Bangkok resident released two large snakes into his condo hallway in a dramatic protest over a neighbor's noisy dog, sparking outrage in a viral social media video.

Footage shared widely on Facebook this week captured the snakes slithering along the hallway floor, shocking residents and drawing widespread attention online, the Bangkok Post reported.

The snakes' owner claimed the stunt was his way of responding to a two-year-long dispute with a neighbor who kept a dog in violation of the building's no-pet policy. Despite repeated complaints by residents, the management had allegedly failed to take action.

"Today I brought two. Tomorrow I'll bring more," he said in the Facebook post, as reported by The Straits Times.

Following the incident, condominium management intervened, fining the dog owner ฿10,000 (US$306) and ordering the pet's removal.

The resident who released the snakes received an official warning and instructions to remove the reptiles from the property.

The building management has since reiterated its strict no-pet policy and urged all residents to comply.
