Nguyen Thi Anh, 27, enrolled in the Department of Physics’ combined Master’s and PhD program in 2020. She graduated from her program and has become the youngest doctorate graduate of the school’s spring graduation ceremony on Monday, the Korea JoongAng Daily reported.

More than 3,500 students at the school graduated at the ceremony, with 139 of them receiving doctorate degrees. Among the graduates, 192 of them are international ones, with 103 finishing their Master’s and PhD programs.
Anh was a student at the Hanoi National University of Education. She later received an internship at Prof. Kim Dong-wook's Emerging Device Physics Lab at Ehwa.
She has been offered a researcher position at the Center for Quantum Nanoscience, where she would conduct research on quantum material-light interactions with scanning tunneling microscopy.
