According to the university, around 30% of the graduating cohort achieved First Class Honors, defined as scores above 70 out of 100 across all modules. BUV said this figure represents an increase compared with the same period last year and aligns with the average rate reported in the United Kingdom by the Higher Education Statistics Agency.
Approximately 20% of graduates have continued to postgraduate study at institutions such as the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of St Andrews, Monash University, and the University of Sydney.
BUV reported that nearly half of the graduating students secured employment prior to formally receiving their degrees. Graduates have joined organizations in Vietnam and overseas, including Vinamilk, Techcombank, MB Bank, Vingroup, Panasonic, YouTube, Boston Consulting Group, KPMG, EY, VTV, VNG, GameLoft, Shopee, and SSI.
In addition, more than 20% of graduates have pursued entrepreneurial activities. Student-led projects include Young Vitality, a business focused on nutrition and healthy living, and 204 Production, a photography and video agency. These initiatives were developed through coursework, applied projects, and business experimentation during the students' studies.

Speaking at the ceremony, valedictorian Doan Thuy Duong, a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance graduate, said the most valuable outcome of her studies was not only the degree itself but also the analytical skills and confidence gained. "Each of us has a different journey, but we share the same determination to keep improving and to create value," she said.
In a congratulatory message, British Ambassador to Vietnam Iain Frew highlighted BUV's role in educational cooperation between the U.K. and Vietnam, an area identified as part of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries. He said the graduates could contribute to strengthening ties between the two education systems.
Triple quality assurance framework
BUV said the outcomes of the 2025 graduating class reflect its Triple Quality Assurance framework. At the local level, the university's institutional quality has been recognized by Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training. At the nationallevel, as the representative of British higher education in Vietnam, BUV is the first university in Vietnam and one of the first universities in ASEAN to receive full institutional accreditation from the U.K.'s Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA). At the international level, the university has maintained a QS 5-star rating across multiple categories for six consecutive years.

Professor Raymond Gordon, President and Vice-Chancellor of BUV, said graduates enter the labor market with U.K.-standard academic training, English proficiency, and international exposure. Professor Phil Allmendinger, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) of the University of London, also acknowledged the academic demands of the programs undertaken by BUV students.
According to BUV's representative, its graduates' success also reflects the university's sustained efforts to raise the bar for higher education in Vietnam. On its journey towards being viewed as one of the leading universities in Vietnam and surrounding regions, and advancing into the top 100 universities in Asia, BUV continues to pursue its mission of equipping young people with knowledge, real-world experience and a global mindset through internationally benchmarked British education. In doing so, it nurtures generations of lionhearted graduates: confident, responsible and ready to adapt to an ever-changing world.
Founded as Vietnam's first QS 5-star university, BUV is also the first institution in Vietnam and ASEAN accredited by the QAA. The university offers programs designed in collaboration with U.K. partners and reports that graduates typically secure employment or continue further study within three months of graduation.
