British University Vietnam (BUV) recently held its first Experience Day in 2025, offering students the chance to attend practical classes in high-demand disciplines and receive one-on-one advice from top international education professionals in selecting universities and programs.

Vo Hong Hanh, head of the organizing committee for BUV's Experience Day, emphasized the importance of carefully considering what to study and where to study, as these choices can shape future career paths. Students must balance their talents and interests with factors such as academic abilities, tuition costs, career prospects, and postgraduate opportunities. "Getting a head start in this journey gives them a significant competitive advantage," Hanh noted.

This event marks a key phase in BUV's brand repositioning, strengthening of its senior academic leadership team, and completion of Phase II of its campus expansion project, with an estimated investment of $33 million.

The event attracted nearly 2,000 students from Hanoi, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, and other nearby provinces, giving them a firsthand look at university life.

Students had the opportunity to experience an international university environment through demo classes with foreign lecturers, career orientation activities, and a lively taste of student life. The event also provided an opportunity to interact with experts, gain insights into personal development pathways and career prospects, and learn essential tips for applying for scholarships and university admissions.

Parents accompanying their children were able to gain a better understanding of the university selection process, which should be based on the student's abilities, passions, and adaptability rather than solely on market trends and labor demands.

In today's globalized world, an international standard of education does not always require studying abroad. BUV offers a modern learning environment where students are taught entirely in English, encouraged to think critically and creatively, and equipped with the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

The event's demo classes recreated an international teaching environment, highlighting interactive learning and modern technology to give students a clearer view of what their development journey at a global university could be like.

The event not only provided high school students with the opportunity to explore a modern learning environment but also marked a significant milestone in BUV's transformation into the "Home of the Lionhearted"—a place dedicated to nurturing confident, resilient individuals ready to thrive in a globalized world.
