Corpse found next to Da Lat lake

Authorities first received a report on Saturday morning from people traveling to the lake, saying they found a decomposing human leg on Hoa Hong Street.

A forensic analysis revealed that the leg had been decomposing for around a month, and may have been dragged out near the road by an animal the previous night.

After hours of searching, authorities found a body in a grass field, surrounded by weeds, next to Tuyen Lam Lake. The body, suspected to be a woman, was wearing a yellow outfit with red streaks. Authorities said it was not a recent death, with the body and skull almost entirely decomposed.

Police of Lam Dong Province are trying to track down the person's relatives and determine the cause of death.
